I will discuss some examples where the creation, manipulation and survival of entanglement benefits of the presence of external driving. These examples are resonances and ac-control of entanglement in spin chains. I will leave the spin chains for discussing gaussian entanglement in harmonic oscillators. The resonators are coupled to hot environments. Contrary to the usual expectation entanglement can be created and retain up to very high temperatures when the interaction is parametrically driven. I will finish with an informal discussion about possible implementations and implications of our work.
